This past weekend I participated in the City of Lakes Tri- Loppet. First you canoe with a partner, then run and finish with a mountain bike. For the second year in a row I partnered up with Evan Pengelly and let me tell you, we have some mad paddling skills! A big thanks to Dave and Josie Nelson for letting us use their sweet boat. Also, a big thanks to Sven for letting me use his mountain bike.It is always a great race and everyone should get out and go for it!

Then we headed up to Hayward to celebrate Muskie Days and the marriage of Santi and Carolyn. Congrats to the happy couple! We did not make it to the reception (weddings are difficult with small children) but the ceremony was very nice.
I hope everyone is getting lots of training in. Remember, this is when the foundation is set.
