I guess there have been some questions going around if Grant still has a screw in his belly.  The answer (on my twitter feed) is “No”… thank God.  He pooped it out a day ago.

Also, today was the first day of racing in Alaska… US Nationals, skate sprint.  My plan was to race the qualifier only to conserve energy for the distance races later in the week.  I did manage to qualify and it was tough to leave the venue and rest but I am confident it will help me achieve a better result on Monday, the 15km skate. 

I will get some pics up of Alaska later this week.  It has been so much warmer than last year and today we raced at a balmy +5F!
