3rd Place today… not to shabby.  CXC boys go 1-3-5-6… Kuz Wins!  Americans go 1-2-3-5-6 which is good considering this was a “Win & In” race for the Canadians with regards to the Olympics… so 4th place racer(1st Canadian) Gordon Jewett is going to the Games this Feburary… lucky dude!

Skate sprint tomorrow… should be fast and fun.  I will post more pics if I can find any.

One of the best places I have been for skiing…over 100km of trails all right out your front door.  Silver Star Resort is a winter-wonderland and this weekend I have some very important races just down the road at Sovereign Lakes Nordic Center (ski trails connect the two venues).  Tonight the guy’s team is making a pasta dinner for everyone and Fish and Brandon are busy race waxing our skis for tomorrow’s race.  My ski choice for tomorrow is my Birkie ski… they should be rockets for tomorrow’s new and colder snow conditions.  It’s going to be a battle, very tough field on some intense World Cup courses.

Busy day at the only place to ski in the Twin Cities area.  Eric, Evan, Justin and I and about 400 other people where at the downhill slopes this morning.  Monday morning I am flying out to Silver Star for some more races, but not before another interval set and a massage session with Larry.  My legs are going to need some help after I hammer on them tomorrow.

Ian Harvey took this pic at the 10k classic race in WYS.  Still wishing I could have found a few more seconds out there but I am pumped for the 30k classic mass start at nationals this year.  Fish and Igor really helped me improve my classic skiing.

Troll-land here I come… intervals tomorrow morning. Right now I am off to see Santa Cluse with the family!
