Last night was 1 mile FUN run and Fundraising event for my training and racing expenses.  The Medicinal Mile was held on the Medicine Lake peninsula road.

Thank you to all the runners and volunteers how showed up for a great event!

Dennis Dane, 4:39, and Josie Nelson, 6:23, posted the top mens and womens times… nice work! I ran with Grant in the jogger because I am fighting a little fatigue right now so no intensity for me until I feel better.

This weekend was the 1/2 marathon Trail Loppet at Theodore Wirth Park in Minneapolis.  The run was a blast and I want to thank John Swain for pointing me in the right direction during the race.  Some race markings were taken down before the race and it made for some confusing intersects.  I want to thank all the volunteers for helping make this an awesome event.

The race went well and I ran 1:27hr on a very challenging course.  My legs are screaming a little today but no injuries and felt pretty good doing roller ski speeds with Kuzzy at Baker today.

This past Sunday was a great fundraiser for me as 45 golfers showed up at Shamrock Golf Course in Corcoran, MN.  The weather was amazing and everyone had a great time golfing.  We ended up raising close to $1500 to help fund my racing and training as I prepare for this important Olympic season.

I want to thank all the golfers, hole sponsors, Shamrock Golf course for hosting us again.  Thank you to all the friends and family who help out.  Also, a very big thank you to my wife, Marybeth, who orchestrates many of the details behind this event and makes sure everything runs smoothly on tournament day.

My last thank you, a very big thanks to our culinary experts, Kuan, Heidi and Garrett Teoh; the pork tacos were amazing and the cakes were so good I couldn’t help my self from having a second serving.

Today is my wife’s B-Day… 26 years old!  We are going to have a fun day as a family.
